Challenge:
IFA Productions took on the task of producing a two-season, 50-episode documentary series featuring world record growers Randy Dowdy and David Hula, who help farmer Mickey Gottsch take his farm to the Next Level of yield and profitability. The series needed to incorporate over a dozen sponsors, highlight high-detail farming practices, and the delivery of content filmed in spring to be ready by fall the same year.

Solution:
We embarked on an incredible journey with farmer Mickey Gottsch to document his pursuit of higher yields in the face of shrinking land and rising costs. Alongside expert growers Randy and David, we captured the lessons, challenges, and triumphs that unfolded throughout the harvest season.

Balancing access to the world record growers, we weaved their invaluable insights into Mickey’s story, making every appearance count. Our approach also seamlessly integrated sponsors as trusted resources and educators, showcasing their expertise in real-life farming situations without interrupting the viewing experience.

Results:
The Next Level Farming series surpassed all expectations, becoming a standout favorite for the broadcast network RFD-TV. Viewers were captivated by the authentic storytelling, and the featured growers praised their portrayal, enthusiastically recommending the program. The sponsors felt genuinely represented and recognized the immense value of their involvement.

This series not only entertained but also provided actionable knowledge for farmers looking to elevate their farms to new heights. The Next Level Farming series made a lasting impact, connecting with audiences and offering invaluable insights into high-detail farming practices.
